I graduated from University of Central Florida in 2012, where I studied English Literature and Magazine Journalism. I have spent my career conceptualizing, developing, and executing communications strategies for small nonprofits that were just getting their footing, a world-renowned university’s fundraising department, and for a global theme-park brand. I’ve built social media strategies where there once was, “We tried to tweet but couldn’t get the hang of it” and I’ve introduced fresh editorial standards for a large corporation. I’ve written and implemented brand style-guides where there once were haphazard inconsistencies and I’ve refined already-established communications methods for a decades-old brand.
I am committed to asking the right questions in interviews, writing with a fresh perspective, and editing in such a way to enhance a writer’s voice rather than diminish it.
I also promise to never make a meeting last longer than it needs to be, which — I think — is a really admirable trait of mine.
